Summary

Let me first start off by saying that if you have another next gen system or PS2 i would recomend you play this game on that system. Not that this game is horrible on the Wii or anything just it was a game not made for the full use of the Wii.
With that being said now Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a great game for fans of the Marvel Universe. The game is chalked filled with your favorite superheros along with extra costumes( One of the costumes have a related hero to them for example Beta Ray Bill is an extra costume of Thor). This will bring a smile to any Marvel fan. The story is a simple one but It does have a few surprises along the way( Superhero pitfall). The graphics on the Wii version won't be as crisp or as clear as that of a next gen system but they aren't awful, and the sound along with the voice acting gets you into the action.
Over all this Game is a must play for any Marvel comic fans out there. As I have stated there before if you do have a next gen system play it for that. but on the Wii you will find it just as enjoyable.

Summary

This games starts off on The S.H.E.I.L.D helicarrier (really Cool!).
It Has around 20 characters playable from the start and you can unlock i believe 7 more. This game has a story of doctor doom trying to take over the world with his gang of bad guys (Nothing new ,But what did you expect?) and you have to go across the universe to find ways to stop him, Then there's The "Comic book missions"
Where you choose the hero and it takes an adapted marvel storyline
and sends you through it and it explains the heroes origin and powers, Really Cool. The most frustrating thing about this game is no matter how hard you try to do everything right What, i Call the Peter Parker complex EVERYTHING GETS BLAMED ON YOU!
"Oh you saved jean Grey...But Nightcrawler died in the process. you should fix that, which is impossible by the way." it frustrates me to no end OK so to summarize "cool game, its fun, Interesting Story and frustrating (but worth it) choices"
i cant wait for the second one

P.S. Can someone explain why jean is wearing the Dark phoenix costume?

Summary

This game is a must have for Marvel comic fans.
In the game you can assemble up to four of your favourite comic book heroes
and select them to be on your dream team to fight against victor von dooms plan of world domination in the marvel universe.

The game is easy to get into the controls are simple and basic.
The problems i have in the game is the way you control the camera movements its so sensitive to your movement while you are also moving your character with the nunchuk the camera just go spinning around.
Also i believe the game wasn't espcially made for the wii as it doesn't use much of the motion controls the only time it is useful is when you select deadpool and one of his attack require you spinning the remote.

but all can i say is it a simple game and i must have for marvel comic book fans.

Summary

Marvel Ultimate Alliance brings a wide variety of Marvel characters together to destroy the Dr. Doom and the Masters of Evil. Right of the bat a player can play as Captain America, Thor, Spiderman, and Wolverine. As soon as you reach teh first save point most of the roster of characters, including Deadpool, are available to use. This game combines button mashing and motion controls during combat. You can also go on side quests and comic missions instead of continuing the game's story. This game offers a lot of RPG aspects such as equipping power ups, spending skill points, and changing your character's costume.

There are some cut scenes in this game that were CG and those scenes looked and sounded great. This game fails, however, when it comes to the in-game generated cutscenes. They look horrible and take away from the game. On the plus side, this game does sound great.

The A button is going to be used the most as this game is primarily a button masher/beat em up. During combat you will be repeatedly pressing the A button. By holding down the B button and doing one of five gestures with the Wii remote you can use your super powers. While the motion controls aren't always accurate, it still keeps the combat from being boring. Another problem this game has is when you start a second file, all of the powers and costumes that you had on your first file get copied onto the second file. This got on my nerves when I had to go through some pretty challenging comic book mission in order to get the costumes while my brother didn't have to do a thing.

Bottom line, Marvel Ultimate Alliance has its share of faults. These however do not completely take away from the game and it still is a lot of fun. You can play by yourself or with up to four friends, but there isn't any Wi-Fi. Overall Ultimate Alliance is a lot of fun and definitely deserves a look at.
